Love in Action
Unconditional love, coupled with accountability of behavior and natural consequences, form the philosophical foundation of Children’s ARK. After a number of successful years in the child care arena, the Children’s ARK stands firm in our loving approach.
By definition, love is patient.
- It is capable of enduring hardship or inconvenience without complaint or retribution.
- Children’s ARK staff members are patient of our children’s misdeeds, and take no personal offence when the verbal and/or physical confrontations are aimed at one of our staff.
Love is kindhearted.
- It’s characterized by kindness, concern, grace, and charity.
- Children’s ARK staff members demonstrate kindheartedness by our tireless firmness of character, action, and purposefulness towards our children; no matter their response.
Love rejoices in truth and in the unwavering pursuit of a child’s success. Love always protects, always trusts, always perseveres. Love never fails. No matter how much the child rebels, resists, or runs—LOVE NEVER FAILS!
