Children's ARK Services
Children’s ARK is currently serving boys and girls in three licensed, accredited facilities in Green Mountain Falls and Pueblo, Colorado. Children are generally placed through court order by the Department of Human Services due to severe acting out at school, in the community, at home or in foster care or other group care settings.
Children’s ARK’s programs are built upon a foundation of unconditional love coupled with accountability. Adults set firm, realistic limits in loving ways and work with kids to express emotions and painful feelings appropriately.
The children build skills as they progress through specific goals and levels of treatment. By the time they complete the program, children have mastered anger management, improved self-concept, learned transitional life skills (such as budgeting or interviewing for a job), and restored relationships with loved ones.
Beyond that, they have gained a sense of HOPE – that the rest of their lives can be much better.
It is our sincere hope that the difference we make in these precious, individual lives will reach into future generations.
