Therapeutic Treatment
	Along with mental health, physical health, child welfare, and educational services, Childrens ARK is an integral part of the system of care for children and families. Our model of care is child centered, family focused, and culturally competent. The core values and principles of Childrens ARK Therapeutic Treatment include:
	Early assessment and interventions are vital to promoting positive outcomes. A comprehensive array of individualized formal and informal services that address a child’s physical, emotional, social and educational needs. Delivery of services in the least restrictive, normative environment that is clinically appropriate. Childrens’ families and caregivers are full participants in all aspects of policy development and the planning and delivery of services which are integrated between child and family. Care coordination is provided by the Childrens ARK Director of Mental Health to ensure that multiple services are linked and clinically indicated. The individual services address family’s strengths and needs, and are reviewed on a regular basis for applicability to the family’s current level of functioning. The rights of the children are protected, effective advocacy efforts by the children and family are promoted. Services are always provided without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex, physical disability or similar characteristics.
